10:30 → 10:40 Introduction

Interaction with Solna Centrum:
- Piro and Nelly (ZoukKTH) looking for a venue for dance classes
- Reached to Solna Centrum (Trudeau) and explored posibility for a couple of venues
- Interacted Solna Centrum (Josefin) for systematic pro-bono dance classes and social activities (ZoukKTH organizes and Solna Centrum provides space -> for free to attract people to Solna Centrum activities and increase the dance exposure)
- Organized a test run in Köket (20250625)-> Very well received!

10:40 → 10:50 The vision

What are the goals for this term:
- Create a space in Solna Centrum where people can connect through Zouk Social Dance
- Weekly free Zouk class and social at Solna Centrum

What we have:
- Piro and Nelly as leaders of the Zouk Community and well known Zouk Teachers in Stockholm
- A team of very resonsible and passionate people eager to commit their time and energy to grow this space (Classes, Music and lights)
- Good communication and connection with Stefan (support) and Salem (security)
- Good social media prescence to grow interest in the collaborative activities between SC and ZKTH

What we need:
- Time and Space (as in access to a venue available at scheduled times
- Support in reposting the events in SC social media

This is what we talked about last and our responses and questions to the details that Josefin wrote.

• ZoukKTH can have the venue that Stefan showed every other week, maybe on Thursday if that works?

*We loved the venue! Thursdays are not suitable at all due to other events unfortunately. Would Mondays work? And is it only every other week or could it be every week?

• You can have the venue from 4pm to 8pm.

*Understandable, we don't really know what we can do from 4pm on a weekday yet. Most of us work with other things (but maybe we'll figure it out!). We've thought about a free dance class for your visitors from 6pm to 6.45pm and then social dancing until we need to close. If that's the time, would occasional Saturdays also work? More people are there on Saturdays I assume... Then you can start at 4pm...

• You staff the venue so that the shop windows we have in the venue are not affected by the event.

*Yes, it will always be staffed.

• we remove and re-hang the banner at each opportunity.

*We don't know exactly what is meant by vepa, but maybe we can go through that when we meet in the venue.

• You can get the key to open the grille or. If the guard helps you.

*Yes!

• You bring your own music equipment

*Is there a way for us to leave it there? Maybe in a locker? So that we don't have to go back and forth?

• You make sure that no trash/soup is left in the venue

*Yes!

• Together we will agree on communication around these ongoing occasions. Here you can make a plan with @Klara Gradin who does what so that it is smooth for each occasion.

*Sounds good

• Regarding setting up temporary cozier lighting, etc., @Klara Gradin will get back to you after she has checked with Stefan and our security manager Tomo.

• we are ecxited to hear from her.

Klara is thinking next week in January they would be able to start with this. End of the year are the busiest months. They think that some stuff will always need to be done by them. 

Can we push for this year? Klara will check with Sofia.

We need minimum effort - but they are handling a lot of events and she is leaving for parental. There will be a new person coming in in november and december. Realistically it will happen next year. 

If its decied next year then we would really book times etc. They are interested in having a cooperation with us. If Sofia thinks its a good idea then they will decide on dates for next year. She doesnt see a reason to not do it next year. There is a lot of events that are going to take place.

Pop up thing in november? Klara thinks its a nice thing to do in the centrum. Busy time in her mind... 

Is there a way to meet Sofia? Klara will talk to Sofia and then maybe you can meet. It depends on what she thinks about it. She will tell her that its a succesful event and brings a lot of happiness and bring good energy to the centrum. It depends on if she has any other plans for the vacnacy there.
